All video, audio and storage components meet SASH requirements.

Video

DigiGone uses high definition cameras with built-in microphones and IR lights with a 30 meter range. Video recording is continuous with motion or audio detection triggering an event mark. All video is watermarked with a time/date stamp and tamper alarms are installed on all critical equipment. In addition, video and audio surveillance signage is provided.

Audio

Additional microphones are provided to ensure complete coverage of designated areas using DigiGone's proprietary noise filtering algorithms to capture audible conversations.

Storage

DigiGone provides a redundant onboard data storage unit that meets your requirements.  All recording is time/date stamped and the health of the system is constantly monitored.

Access to the system is limited only to authorized individuals and there are built in tamper detection and notification mechanisms in place.  And an integrated UPS is provided to protect the system from vessel power brownouts and power failures.

To ensure chain of custody, all video/audio recording retrieval will be conducted by DigiGone and provided to the customer. This will allow impartial delivery of video/audio recordings.

Crew Welfare

DigiGone’s CrewChat® application facilitates secure access to counselors, rape crisis centers or other professionals at the push of a button, allowing the crew member to report an incident or receive counseling using their personal cell phone.

In addition to encrypting the call, CrewChat can also be used to take still images of injuries or other potential evidence and automatically send them securely.

We provide detailed proposals, tailored to the vessel class, covering all key aspects of the Safer Seas Act, offering a total turnkey solution.
